Making this Homepage was a very hard work. I have used no commercial program to write it.
It was all made at My-Home-Sweet-Home in HTML code using the normal Windows Editor.
I have spend hours of despair (and sometimes very surprised ones) sitting in front of a computer and trying to understand
how to handle with so many strange and complicated tags I have never heard before. I have decided to use this process
because I wanted to be a little bit clever about computers and learn how it really works.
Sincerely, I still donīt know how and why a computer runs but I am finding out... with success...

Not all graphics in this page are mine. I found most of them in Internet. Others were gifts from friends and some others
were "lent". The site Barbiels Panda Adventures, as an example, was made specially for me from friends from
"The Elegant Angels" Webring. I have listed my very special cyber-friends at the site Links where you can visit
their own homepages. I can only say, it is a visit worth they are all fantastic..

The background is a original watercolor from me. I have made it drawing in a very thick special watercolor paper
and using pastel colors. The paper was very wet so that the colors mixed all together. After doing it I have scanned it
using UMAX Astra 2000U and worked the tile with Photoshop 5.5 and Picture Publisher 8 using the glas filter
effect. The family fotos were made using a Fuji FinePix47000zoom digital camera and worked with the programs
above mencioned (cut, reduce, etc). My animations were made with PaintShopPro7 and Animation Shop from
Jasc Software, which are my favorite programs.

I also would like to thank Ingo Dellwig and his book "Die eigene Homepage" (My Own Homepage) that was
my ABC and Bible in learning how to work with HTML, add images and background sounds.

HTML is not a monster but you waste a lot of time before understanding how it works. I found this experience
fascinating because I could manage it in the way I wanted. Sometimes occurred endless errors (surprise, surprise)
before I realized what was really wrong and didnīt match...

I am very satisfied with the results. I didnīt intend anything special doing this Homepage. It is a site for my
family and nothing more... and I guess Iīve got it !!! Who knows? Maybe I will be an expert in the next one ?
